I used to be a nurse and when a patient said they smoked a pack a day, we'd write down "two packs a day." If they drank two beers a day, we'd write four. Patients always admit to half of what they consume in cigs and alcohol. But yeah, drinking and smoking get the blame for everything. There’s some truth in that advice.
